Clear pricing and repair approval
Payments and Invoices
The $25 diagnostic fee covers the initial evaluation. Yellow City Tech then explains the repair plan and expected cost so you can approve the work before additional repair charges are authorized.
Standard repair process
How payment works
- 1
Pay the diagnostic fee at drop-off
A $25 diagnostic fee covers the initial evaluation of the device. It is not the complete repair price.
- 2
Review the diagnosis and repair plan
Yellow City Tech explains what appears to be wrong, what work is recommended, and the expected price or a reasonable estimate.
- 3
Approve the repair
You decide whether to proceed. Additional repair work does not begin without your approval.
- 4
Apply the diagnostic fee to the repair
If you approve and proceed with the repair, the $25 already paid is credited toward the approved repair total.
- 5
Pay the remaining approved amount
Follow the invoice or payment instructions provided by Yellow City Tech for the remaining balance.
The $25 diagnostic fee
The diagnostic fee is not the total repair price. Diagnosis is used to identify the likely failure, a practical repair path, compatible parts, and the expected cost where reasonably possible. If you proceed with the approved repair, the same $25 is counted toward that repair total, and the invoice reflects the remaining approved amount.

Payment details are handled through PayPal’s systems rather than stored directly by Yellow City Tech. Customers receive a receipt for electronic and cash payments. Yellow City Tech does not directly collect or store complete payment-card details through this website.
Your invoice or payment instructions show the amount due and how to complete the payment. Any applicable payment-processing fee is disclosed before payment.

Cash is not electronically processed by PayPal. Yellow City Tech records the purchase through PayPal Zettle so the transaction is documented and you receive a complete receipt.
Estimates and approval
Pricing reflects the diagnosis, labor, compatible parts, availability, and the device’s actual condition. If inspection reveals additional damage or a different problem, Yellow City Tech will explain the change and request approval before performing additional billable work.
Parts and custom projects
Special-order parts, custom PCs, large projects, device sales, and business or other custom work may have different payment requirements. Any deposit, advance payment, processing charge, or individually agreed term will be stated in the quote or invoice before payment.
Parts pricing and availability may change until an order is placed.
